HOTEL Great place to stay but it is missing some of the little things that can make this place better. no swim up bar no poolside bar.The food was plain could be better.staff was great friendly,helpful.

Good bargain We had a nice ocean-view room here for 3 nights. Close to town and a short walk to Sandy beach. good value for the money spent.

Laos Mar I was very disappointed in the Laos Mar and will not stay there again. For the price we paid I would have expected more. I've stayed in "roach" motels that had more amenities. The room was cheaply built. No sound proofing. Carpet poorly installed. No refrigerator in the room. On the other hand, the bed was great and we slept well once the noise abated for the evening.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED We arrived at Laos Mar to be "greeted" by two very unfriendly desk clerks who gave us a room key and randomly pointed in the direction we were to park (unpaved). There are no elevators, our room was on the 3rd floor and there was no offer of assistance with our luggage. The ocean view was about 300 yards away. The room was very stark, the linens were not clean appearing (gray), the toilet paper was close to sandpaper quality, the walls were dirty, the curtains were coming lose from the rod, and we awoke to a terrible odor outside our window. We received word of a family emergency so had to depart sooner than expected and upon checking out the two desk clerks were not friendly and acted offended we asked for the $20 room key deposit. We will never stay at Laos Mar again and would not recommend it to anyone.

disappointed! the room overall was pretty good but the restroom it had a awful smell that worsen when u flushed it, the staff was very unfriendly, starting with the front desk, all the way to the cleaning staff, no smiles no conversation, no pleasant greetings no response to goodmorning. not very helpful we ran around the whole hotel before we could find our room, they half-ass pointed use in a direction and we were looking for a room with no ROOM#, smart huh? well we will never stay there again, playa bonita is very nice i recommend that one.

Excellent Accommodations For The Money!!! We have to disagree with the poor ratings on here. The staff was very friendly and helpfull especially when we told them we had never been to Mexico before. There is wireless internet, margaritas by the pool, patio doors that open right into the pool area. Upper floors have an ocean view. We stayed here for the 4th off July weekend and had a blast. Check out was at 12:00 but we were not ready to leave the beach. The management let us come back later that day after we had already checked out so we could us the poolside shower and swi a little before heading home. There is not a resteraunt at this hotel but the neiboring sister hotel, Playa Bonita has the best resteraunt on the beach. (Have the battered shrimp-AWSOME!!) We would recomend it to anyone and we will always stay there or the Play Bonita next door.

las mar i was very disapointed at the room it.was nothing like the photo\'s rooms that were in your pamplet. it was like staying at the motel six. the rooms... were in need of repair from carpet to the door which someone had tried to breake into . it was not clean,the halls were dirty.carpets were rollup must have been installed by a rookie,for spending that much money we could have gotten a very nice room else where

Poor Service The staff spoke very little English, the walls were bare thin - you could here every single noise - easy when they began cleaning room early in the morning. We were there recently for a motorcycle rally and requested a wake up call on our last day to ride back with a group a people. I called twice to make sure they had us scheduled for a call. Needless to say, we never received the 5:30AM wake up call. When we asked the guy at the front desk what happened - because everyone had left without us - the response was \"He must have forgot\". The request was on the counter. Would never recommend this place, will never stay there again.

hotel laos mar El unico problema ke yo tuve fueron unos inquilinos muy ruidosos, la sra de la habitacion de enseguida prendia la tele a todo volumen a las 630 am olvidandose de ke estaba en un hotel, y hacia mucho ruido. y tambien habia otros ke davan unos portasos bastante fuerte ke retumbabatodo. SOLO RECUERDEN QUE ESTAN DE VACACIONES Y QUE OTRAS PERSONAS VN A DESCANSAR '' DEVEN DE TENER CONSIDERACION Y RESPETAR A LOS OTROS HUESPEDES '' Y NO HACER DEMASIADO RUIDO MOLESTANDO E IMPORTUNANDO A LOS DEMAS". laos mar Este hotel es pequeno pero cuenta con habitaciones amplias,y limpias. en comparacion con otros hoteles pequenos ofrece buena presentacion en sus habitaciones camas grandes, un bano amplio y cuenta con secadora y tabla de planchar . revisa su galleria de fotos y al llegar al hotel es igualito a como aparece en fotos en cuestion de todo, no te llevas sorpresas de fotos truqueadas esta muy bonito y comodo.....
